The white sandy beach just across the road is pristine and dolphins are often seen swimming by or playing in the bay. It is a lovely spot for swimming, beach fishing, snorkeling or crabbing. For the boaties there is a very convenient shallow water boat mooring available for use by guests with a boat ramp down the road and another nearby at Port Geographe.

The cycle path passes by the house, and it is a 5 or 10 minute ride into town or a 20 to 30 minute stroll to the famous Busselton Jetty or for a casual meal at one of the beach front cafes and restaurants.

It is a 2 minute walk to the local supermarket, liquor store and nearby food outlets.

For those who need more than a deck chair on the front deck taking in the breathtaking view, there is an information pack in the entry of the house with ideas on where to eat locally, places for families to explore and local vineyards and breweries in Margaret River and also the Ferguson Valley. There are also several wine tours that will pick you up from the front door.

Busselton is home to many exciting annual events such as the Busselton Ironman and Half ironman, various music festivals such as Southbound, the famous Jetty swim and Geographe Bay Race Week which is the largest sailing regatta held in WA. Be sure to book your accommodation well in advance if you are holidaying over these busy periods.
